C’River Gov’t Approves The Establishment Of State Diaspora Commission.

The acting governor of Cross River State, Rt. Hon. Peter Odey has approved the Establishment and appointments of members of the Cross River State Diaspora Commission.

This was revealed in a statement signed by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, NSA Gill.

According to the statement, the commission aims to engage Cross Riverians abroad in state policies and development projects, leveraging human and material resources for the socioeconomic, cultural, and political advancement of the state.

The statement also stated that the members of the state planning commission will receive the full mandate of the commission.

The following are the appointees:
Otu Edu Okor – Chairman,
Elizabeth Greene – Secretary,
Eyobong Ita – Member
Douglas Agbe – Member
Maggie Inde – Member
Emily Madueke – Members.

The appointees are expected to report to the office of the Secretary to the state government for further instructions and documentation.
