C’River State Traffic Regulatory Agency To Commence Enforcement Of Parking Permit And Motor Ordinance Test (MOT)

The cross River State Traffic Management And Regulatory Agency (CRSTRAMRA) has disclosed plans to effectively commence full enforcement of state parking permit and motor ordinance test (MOT) paper for the year, beginning from Monday the 10th of March 2025.

This was revealed in a statement signed and released on Friday, 7th of March 2025 by the Director General Of the State Traffic Management and Regulatory Agency, Bassey Okokon.

The press statement contained that owners and operators of heavy duty vehicles and goods hauling vehicles are therefore advised to acquire the relevant documents as defaulting vehicles will be confiscated and prosecuted accordingly. 

This move aims to restore sanity in the state transportation sector as well making roads safer for other commuters. This enforcement will ensure heavy duty vehicles and hauling vehicles are parked at designated places to eliminate traffic congestion and attendant accidents associated to indiscriminate vehicular parking.
