Cros River State Governor Approves Fresh Appointments Into College And Universities

The governor of Cross River State, His Excellency, senator Prince Bassey Edet Otu has approved appointments into the University of Education and Entrepreneurship, Akamkpa, College of Agriculture, Obubra and the University Of Cross River State (UNICROSS).

This was contained in a statement released by the chief press secretary to the Governor, Nsa Gills on Tuesday 5th of March 2025.
The appointments are as follows

UNIVERSITY OF EDUCATION AND ENTERPRENEURSHIP
Prof. Susan Etim – Chairman governing council.
Bishop Chris Obasse – member.
Chris Otu Aya – member.
Dr. Richard Ogbeche – member.

COLLEGE OF AGRICULTURE OBUBRA
Prof. Gertrude Nah – Chairman.
Prof. Irom Bassey Okey – provost.
Ntufam Emmanuel Ntuyan – member.
Chief Kingsley Bebia – member.
Barr. Lazarus undie – member.

The appointment also included the appointment of more members into the University of Cross River State (UNICROSS) governing council, which includes the following;
Catherine Ajibike (North)
Dr. Eddie Hogan

The governor further appointed Rev. Father Bob Etta as the Special Adviser to the Governor on TETFUND.

The appointments which is a great and inclusive step by the government are to take effect immediately as those involved are advised to resume duty effectively.
