Ghana’s President ADC Collapse As Akufo Presents State Of The Nation Address
Ghana’s President, Nana Akufo-Addo’s Aide-de-Camp, ADC, Colonel Isaac Amponsah suddenly collapsed in the midst of a session of parliament on Friday, 3 January, 2025 disrupting flow of events.
The incident occurred while the President was delivering his address, outlining his administration’s policies and achievements over the past year.
The bodyguard, who was stationed near the podium, began to show signs of distress before he stumbled and collapsed to the floor.
The scene sent shock and concern among assembled members of parliament before the ADC was helped out.
This unfortunate incident brings to bear the importance of adequate rest and consistent medical checkups for leaders across strata of governance including the private sector.
While all hands are on deck to promote healthy living, it is hoped that Colonel Isaac Amponsah returns to duty as ADC to the President with sound state of body and mind.
