Hon. Bette Obi Commends Boki Council Boss For Facilitating Ikom/Obudu Road Rehabilitation
The Chairman House Committee on Agriculture, Forestry, and Natural Resources representing Boki 1 State Constituency, Cross River State House of Assembly, Hon. Bette Philip Obi has poured encomium on Hon. Mrs. Beatrice Etta Nyiam, Executive Chairman, Boki Local Government Area for her proactivism in assuaging plights of Ikom/Obudu road users particularly Boki 1 indigenes with her latest facilitation of rehabilitation less than a month of stay as Council Boss.
Speaking at the ongoing Cross River State trade fair in Calabar, pragmatic Hon. Obi noted that the vigor brought to bear in this current local government regime in Boki is a testament of Eti-Eka’s motherly love for constituents as reflective in her policy thrust.
The Lawmaker added that the milestone achievement on the road hitherto a death trap for comutters will now serve as catalyst for socioeconomic transformation in Boki, Obanliku and Obudu for both farmers and traders.
It will be recalled that since inauguration on 13 June 2023 as Boki 1 representative in the Cross River State House of Assembly, Hon. Bette Philip Obi has made tremendous efforts with repeated trips to Abuja with a view to partner National Assembly members from Central and Northern senatorial district aimed at attracting government attention to the trouble road making life unbearable.
Note that with advent of a messianic trailblazer Council Boss currently shaping developmental narrative in Boki local government, hopes are restored as this closest organ to rural dwellers is poised to take on responsibilities headlong with her trailblazing administrative prowess.
