Michael Leku Ayuk and Mrs Mabel Echabor Bessong’s single-hood following their groundbreaking solemnization of holy matrimony at the christine Immaculate Conception Parish, Ikot Ansa Calabar.

The epoch making ceremony was graced by Creme de la creme of Parishioners, colleagues , associates, friends and family in attendance to share in their happiest moment and add spark to the celebration.

Leaning on scriptural dictate as contained in John 2:1-11, the propeller of Christ miracle exploits, Rev. Father, Christopher Attah Okpu emphasized credence attributed to the institution of marriage while urging newly wedded to imbibe the values of Christ in their home.

This Godly disposition was further enhanced with the angelic ministration of the orchestra who sung hymns of spiritual edification.

The occasion took a different dimension at the return leg of reception. 

From the white and gold decorations signifying purity and royalty, to selection of Associate Prof. Jake Otu Enyia, SSA to the Governor on Political Affairs as occasion chairman, synchronized musical interlude from the Disk Jokery, an articulated master of ceremony, garnished African dishes, assorted drinks to mention a few, the occasion stood out as a tapestry of genuine love and merriment underscoring the essentials of a deepened affection between couples.

Meanwhile, beyond his active role as occasion chairman, this scholar turned public servant, RT. Hon. Chief Otu Enyia enjoined Mr and Mrs Michael Leku Ayuk to be accommodative of each others opinions, open to corrections and willingness to learn new things.

His perspective brings to fore a radical shift from a male domineering world to the era of shared sense of belongings, a cardinal principles of marriage as instituted by God.

The ceremony have come and gone, the lessons gotten are evergreen in the hearts of both celebrants and spectators.
