Prophet Timothy Akam Dakon Grades Iso-Bendeghe-Nkarasi Road
…community calls for government amenities
In a promising development, the youths of Iso-Bendeghe have rallied together to seek socioeconomic relief for their community. A notable figure emerging from this initiative is Prophet, Timothy Akam Dakon, a vibrant cocoa merchant from Bansan in the Iso-Bendeghe area.
Recognizing the dire need for improvement, Prophet Timothy has bravely taken on the responsibility of grading the long-neglected Iso-Bendeghe-Nkarasi Road. This initiative has sparked a wave of hope and gratitude among the community members, who are now able to envision a brighter future.
The impact of this project has been profound, bringing smiles to the faces of many residents with the entire community coming together in appreciation, with daily expressions of gratitude directed toward Prophet Timothy Akam for his generous efforts.
His commitment to uplifting the Iso-Bendeghe community stands as a beacon of hope, inspiring unity and resilience among its people as they work towards overcoming their challenges.
The Iso-Bendeghe Community Road serves as a crucial link connecting the Iso-Bendeghe community to Ikom through the neighboring villages of Nkarasi and Nkum. For many years, the residents of this Boki community have endured significant social and economic hardships primarily due to the deplorable condition of their access road. The Iso-Bendeghe people are renowned for their extensive cultivation of cash crops, particularly cocoa and bananas, as well as a variety of other agricultural products. However, the lack of a reliable and accessible road has severely hampered their ability to transport these goods to urban markets, limiting their economic potential.
The challenges faced by this community extend beyond poor road infrastructure. Iso-Bendeghe lacks essential social amenities, including reliable electricity, clean drinking water, and adequate healthcare facilities. The community’s secondary school is particularly in a dire state, having fallen into disrepair and now resembling a dump rather than a place of learning. This situation has contributed to a sense of despair among the residents, who are struggling to provide their children with quality education. This pathetic situation calls for urgent government intervention in assuaging plights of the populace with a view to give them hope.
