Support Group Pays Courtesy Visit To Boki Chairman, Pledges Support To Her Administration

On Monday, 25th of November,2024, a  prominent Boki son, Rt Hon Associate Professor Chief Jake Otu Enyia ,KSJI,JP and his Support group, paid a solidarity visit to the Executive Chairman of Boki Local Government Council, Eti-Eka Hon. (Mrs) Beatrice Etta Nyiam at her residence in Calabar to congratulate her on her success at the polls and subsequent swearing in.

The support group comprises a cross section of men and women from Kachuan Irruan, Buda ward, who came in their numbers to celebrate the emergence of the 10th Chairman of Boki Local Government Council.

Speaking at the event, Rt. Hon. Associate Professor Chief Jake Otu Enyia, KSJI, JP, a lover of peace, prominent Boki son and stakeholder in the politics of Boki and Cross River state at large, eloquently celebrated the emergence of the 10th Chairman of Boki, expressing his joy for her choice and the support she enjoys among Boki people.

He thanked His Excellency, Sen. Prince Bassey Edet Otu and his amiable wife, Her Excellency Bishop Mrs Eyoanwan Otu, for gifting Boki such a seasoned and astute administrator to pilot its affairs.

Chief Jake Otu Enyia pledged the continued support and solidarity of the Support Group to the chairman, assuring her that the support group is solidly behind her administration.

Two other members of the support group, Mr Emma Odu and Mrs. Alice Odu spoke in agreement with what the articulate leader of the group has spoken.

In her response, the Executive Chairman of Boki Local Government Council, Eti-Eka Hon (Mrs) Beatrice Etta Nyiam profusely thanked the group for the honor done, and promised that her administration is going to do it utmost best to carry every Boki son and daughter along, thanking the associate Prof for his thoughtfulness.

Highlights of the event were the presentation of a congratulatory award plaque and other gift items to the Chairman ,as well as the rendition of traditional songs and dances in celebration of the amazon of Boki politics.
