University Of Cross River State UNICROSS Resumes Academic Activities, Ends Indefinite Strike

The University of Cross River State has officially called off the ongoing strike.
This was revealed in Press statement signed and released by the registrar of the institution, Victor Ephraim Ene after a management meeting.

The statement contained an immediate call for resumption of academic activities with effect from Wednesday 19th of March 2025.
The statement reads


Academic activities will resume immediately upon return, consequently, all outstanding continuous assessments will take place from Thursday 20th March, 2025.
Students are expected to attend revision lectures and complete necessary course work from Monday 24th March, 2025.
Payment of outstanding school fees and registration of courses which starts immediately upon return will end before commencement of examinations. Students who fail to pay up their fees and register their courses within the stipulated period will not be allowed to sit for their examination”


It further advised students to follow the revised academic calendar that will be released by the university for proper guidance and advise them to take their studies seriously and prepare adequately for their examination as they resumes.

The management further appreciated the students, staffs and stakeholders for their patience during the period and urge for more cooperation in running a smooth and successful academic session.
