Winner of BBNaija Season 9 to Receive ₦100 Million Grand Prize.

The popular reality TV show Big Brother Naija is set to return for its ninth season, with the winner set to walk away with a grand prize of ₦100 million and a new SUV. Osola Tejumola, Executive Head of Content and West Africa Channels at MultiChoice, announced this during a news conference in Lagos on Tuesday.

Tejumola emphasized that this year’s edition, spanning 71 days from July 28 to October 6, promises to be packed with excitement, drama, and unique entertainment. She revealed that housemates will enter in pairs and tackle house challenges together, adding intriguing twists to the dynamics of the show.

To enhance viewer engagement, Tejumola highlighted the launch of Big Brother Naija Buzz, hosted by Toke Makinwa, offering behind-the-scenes insights and more. She also teased surprises from the premiere night onward, including twists and the continuation of popular events like the pool and Saturday night parties, with 24-hour live coverage.

Tope Oshunkeye, Head of Marketing at MultiChoice, further detailed viewer engagement initiatives such as the “Lock-in” game, where viewers can predict immunity challenge winners to win cash prizes. Oshunkeye noted that viewers from the previous season received a total reward of ₦120 million.
