The name, Bishop David Abioye is famous in the Nigerian christian community in view of his service as first Vice President, Living Faith Church Worldwide, author of many christian books and shepherd of thousands to the path of Christ as Senior pastor, Living Faith Church, Durumi Abuja.

Bishop David Abioye was instrumental to the church expansion and eventual relocation to Nassarawa state code named Goshen city situated along the Keffi-Abuja Expressway with over 30,000 worshippers.

Currently, Goshen city seats on vast expanse of land with facilities including school, bakery, lodges and other recreational centers for spiritual edification.

Abioye is married to charismatic and spirit field, Mary Abioye with their blissful union blessed with three children, namely David Abioye Jnr, Ruth Abioye, and Daniel Abioye.

The Mechanical Engineer turned clergy graduated from the prestigious University of Ilorin.

He worked briefly as lecturer at Open Cast Polytechnic, Auchi, in 1985.

His famous authored books includes, Spiritual Apprenticeship, Productive Thinking, Overcoming Stagnation, Wisdom From Above, The Lifestyle Of Faith, Making The Most of Opportunity, among others.

Bishop Abioye, along with Bishop Thomas Aremu whose send-off was held on October 2024 retired in line with the church’s operational guidelines, known as The Mandate, which serves as the church’s constitution.

Importantly, Bishop David Abioye first met Bishop David Oyedepo, President Living Faith Church Worldwide in 1979.

Shortly after his retirement from Winners Chapel as also known, Bishop David Abioye has announced his next spiritual journey with his ‘Hour Of Revival’ crusade, a non denominational event billed for 23 and 30 November, 2024.

The crusade, themed ‘Revive Us Again’ will take place at the MKO Abiola National Stadium Velodrome in Abuja.
