UK University Offers £18,000 Scholarships for International Undergraduates in 2025
In a move to attract top global talent, the University of Kent in the United Kingdom has announced a generous scholarship program for international undergraduate students enrolling in 2025.
The “University of Kent International Undergraduate Scholarship” will provide successful applicants with up to £18,000 in funding over the course of their three-year degree program.
“We’re thrilled to offer this scholarship opportunity to exceptional international students who wish to study at the University of Kent,” said Vice Chancellor Dr. Joanna Newman. “This is part of our ongoing commitment to making our world-class education accessible to the brightest minds from around the world.”
To be eligible, applicants must hold at least AAA at A-level or an equivalent overseas qualification. They must also have submitted a formal application and received an offer for a full-time undergraduate program at the University of Kent for the September 2025 intake. Crucially, applicants must be classified as overseas fee-paying students.
The scholarship will provide £6,000 per year, renewable for up to three years, subject to meeting the required academic conditions. The application deadline is March 28th, 2025, and the final selection panel will convene during the week of April 28th.
“This is an incredible opportunity for international students looking to study in the UK,” said Chigozirim Enyinnia, an education analyst. “The University of Kent’s £18,000 scholarship can make a significant difference in enabling talented individuals to pursue their academic dreams.”
The University of Kent reserves the right not to allocate the scholarship if the selection panel does not identify suitable candidates. However, students who meet the eligibility criteria are encouraged to submit their applications before the deadline.
