Sophia Momodu, the estranged mother of Davido’s daughter Imade, has accused the singer of using sex as a condition to fulfil his paternal duties towards their child. In a recent lawsuit filed in response to Davido’s actions, Sophia claims to have single-handedly provided for Imade over the past two years. She alleges that Davido only engages with their daughter when it suits his publicity or promotional purposes and that he withdraws financial support and communication whenever she rejects his sexual advances.

Sophia also stated that she had allowed Davido access to their daughter until his visits became inappropriate, insisting they were solely for sexual purposes.
